Like books, places are so often a matter of taste; there are those who think New Orleans is dirty and don't enjoy it. I'm glad to hear you loved it!Joannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13486454111763825134noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6391639497188398458.post-47263235007766676842012-05-06T18:02:09.617-05:002012-05-06T18:02:09.617-05:00This is a wonderful book, and it absolutely reads ...This is a wonderful book, and it absolutely reads like a book of essays. Also, it was a good palette-cleanser when I was reading heavier things!Joannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13486454111763825134noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6391639497188398458.post-69937881442674163302012-05-06T08:03:52.457-05:002012-05-06T08:03:52.457-05:00My husband and I went to New Orleans last year and...My husband and I went to New Orleans last year and I have to agree that the food was fabulous. Each restaurant we went to was better than the last. We particularly liked The Commander's Palace. If you had told me that I would enjoy turtle soup, I would have said that you were crazy, but it was delicious. Great post!(Diane) bookchickdihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16640913682123489734noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6391639497188398458.post-669005182765509592012-05-06T06:48:58.318-05:002012-05-06T06:48:58.318-05:00This sounds like a great read.
